9/23/11 - The Jane Weatherwax clinic has been scheduled for Nov 11-13. Friday will take place at Tar Farms, Saturday and Sunday will take place at Sycamore Trails. Cost to participate is $140 per ride for SJC-CDS members, $155 per ride for non-chapter members. Auditing is free! For riders wishing to reserve a ride, please contact Laura Converse at lauraconverse@cox.net.
9/6/11 - Jan Curtis has graciously offered to host chapter members at her home on Thursday, Sept 8th from 6-9pm for a special viewing of the 2011 FEI Young Horse Championships. Pizza will be served. Come watch the final round and listen to commentary from "S" Judge Jan Curtis - RESCHEDULED DUE TO POWER OUTAGE
8/29/11 - The Awards Committee is hard at work putting together and organizing a very special Annual Chapter Awards Banquet. Save the date - Saturday, November 12th. This is definitely going to be an event not to miss! More details to come soon...
8/23/11 - The Jane Weatherwax clinic was a huge success! Thank you to all who participated. Once again, Jane's wisdom and insight was apparent as we watched horse and rider pairs achieve training "breakthroughs" all weekend. We have already received several requests to have Jane come again and are working on bringing her back for another clinic in the near future.
8/22/11 - Wine and Dressage... now THATS Music to our Ears! SJC-CDS's Fabulous Evening of Wine Tasting & Musical Freestyles Event has been featured on Dressage Daily. Check out the full story here...
8/15/11 - Jane Weatherwax returns to San Juan Capistrano this weekend Aug 19-21! Auditors are welcome. Friday's clinic will be located at Tar Farms, Saturday and Sunday will take place at Sycamore Trails. SJC-CDS will be providing lunch to all attendees as well. Stop by to learn, network with your fellow dressage riders, and have a sandwich on us :)
