Ride with Laurie Falvo — Dressage Clinic

Join us for the first clinic in this Dressage Clinic Series hosted by the SJC Chapter, featuring renowned dressage trainer Laurie Falvo. Known for her direct, clear, and horse-first approach, Laurie works with riders of all levels to develop harmony, correctness, and long-term soundness. Riders will focus on throughness, proper use of the back, and self-carriage to improve the horse’s way of going while supporting longevity. ADVANCED PHYSIO WITH STEPHANIE SEHEULT
Clinic with Advanced Physio Tuesday April 25th, 2023
Stephanie is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a Bachelor of Health Science. She is currently contracted with USEF for the developing dressage team.
Each rider will perform all three gaits (or just walk and trot) for 10 to 15 minutes while Stephanie assesses the rider. The rider dismounts and works with Stephanie for about 30 minutes. She targets the primary area of imbalances observed during the riding assessment. After the manual therapies, the rider gets back on for about 10 minutes to feel the new changes and work on whatever was assessed at the beginning. Each rider is emailed their assessment and exercises via YouTube videos that Stephanie has put together.
